You'll be the logistical mastermind that keeps our care delivery seamless, our caregivers empowered, and our clients supported.

This position requires high energy, fast thinking, compassionate communication, and an eye for detail. You must be flexible and calm under pressure—able to pivot quickly and maintain grace even when plans change suddenly.

- Communicate clearly and respectfully with caregivers, clients, family members, field nurses, and office staff.

Communication & Follow-Up

- Notify caregivers of schedule changes or new assignments.

- Respond to client and caregiver inquiries regarding schedule adjustments.

- Participate in the after-hours on-call rotation to resolve urgent staffing concerns.

- Escalate quality or behavioral concerns to case management or HR.

Attendance & Tracking

- Assist with tracking attendance, tardiness, call-outs, and patterns of concern.

- Support PTO and blackout date management within the scheduling system.

- Monitor hours worked and help prevent scheduling-related compliance issues.

Backup Care & Emergency Support

- Be prepared to provide or coordinate emergency in-home support if needed (non-routine).

- Maintain a basic understanding of DDHC care policies and procedures.

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or administrative training preferred.

- Minimum 1 year experience in home care or healthcare scheduling.

- Prior experience with scheduling platforms (WellSky, AxisCare, ClearCare, etc.) preferred.

- Professional demeanor, strong phone etiquette, and clear written/verbal communication skills.

- Excellent time management, multitasking, and problem-solving ability.

- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); general computer literacy a must.

- Ability to remain calm, courteous, and resourceful in fast-paced, changing environments.

- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire).

- Ability to pass Level II background screening.

The ideal candidate is:

- Organized and thrives in high-volume, dynamic environments.
