We are seeking a reliable and skilled Commercial Property Maintenance Technician to oversee the upkeep and maintenance of our properties. The ideal candidate will ensure that all facilities are clean, well-maintained, and fully functional.
This position also involves handling minor repairs, preventative maintenance, and ensuring the landscaping and lawn care are consistently maintained to high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. General Maintenance:
Perform routine inspections and address maintenance issues, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and structural repairs.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests or reported issues from tenants or management.
2. Cleaning & Upkeep:
Maintain the cleanliness of all common areas, including hallways, entrances, parking lots, and exterior spaces.
Ensure trash and debris are removed regularly.
3. Landscaping & Lawn Care:
Mow lawns, trim bushes, weed flower beds, and perform other tasks to keep the properties looking pristine.
Monitor irrigation systems to ensure proper functionality and water scheduling.
4. Preventative Maintenance:
Conduct regular inspections of property systems and structures to identify potential issues before they escalate.
Maintain and repair fixtures, equipment, and appliances as necessary.
5. Emergency Repairs:
Respond to urgent repair needs, such as leaks, electrical outages, or weather-related damages, ensuring the safety and comfort of tenants.
6. Inventory Management:
Maintain a stock of necessary supplies, tools, and equipment to perform job duties effectively.
Coordinate with vendors for larger repairs or specialized maintenance needs.
Qualifications:
Bilingual
Proven experience in property maintenance, facilities management, or a similar role.
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general repair work.
Experience with landscaping tools and techniques.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment or materials (up to 50 lbs.).
Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
Ability to climb ladders, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
