Typical duties and responsibilities may include:
Assisting with Installation and Repair:
Helping with the installation and repair of conveyor belts and conveyor systems.
Assisting with the use of rigging gear, winches, and other equipment for system component assembly.
Learning and assisting with basic splices, belt cleaning, belt tracking, and pulley lagging.
Maintenance and Operations:
Performing or assisting with preventative maintenance routines.
Observing conveyor operations and monitoring equipment.
Cleaning and maintaining equipment and work areas.
Assisting with inventory management tasks, such as pulling orders, replenishing stock, and scanning materials.
Warehouse and grounds maintenance.
Documentation:
Completing necessary paperwork, including timesheets, service orders, and inventory reports.
Safety:
Adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a safe work environment.
Required qualifications include:
Basic Qualifications:
Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving history.
Entry-level to Mid-level belting/conveyor experience (or a willingness to learn).
Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test.
Ability to lift heavy objects.
Skills & Abilities:
Mechanically inclined and hands-on.
Safety conscious.
Attention to detail.
Punctual, reliable, self-motivated.
Ability to work independently or on a team.
Positive attitude.
Strong work ethic.
Availability for on-call service and occasional travel.
