Position Overview:
We're looking for a careful and experienced glazer to join our team in Plant City. In this role, you'll work with glass parts that go into exterior doors. Your job will involve preparing, assembling, sealing, and finishing glass to meet high standards of quality and safety. You’ll help ensure that every piece is built correctly, on schedule, and ready for the final door assembly.
Key Responsibilities:
Check incoming glass for size, defects, and fit for door use
Clean and prep glass using standard industry methods
Apply sealants, adhesives, gaskets, or tapes accurately
Use tools like suction cups, sealant guns, cutters, and drills
Follow quality standards and job instructions closely
Label finished pieces and record details for tracking
Keep your work area clean and safe
Help maintain and inspect tools and equipment regularly
Job Requirements:
At least 1 year of experience in glazing, glass handling, or similar work
Ability to read and follow written work instructions
Physically able to lift up to 75 pounds without help
Able to use a measuring tape accurately
Capable of standing, bending, and reaching for long periods
Additional Info
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Pay: $18 – $25 per hour, depending on experience
