We are seeking an Experienced Lawn Maintenance Technician to join our team. This is not an entry-level position—we are looking for individuals with a solid background in lawn care and landscaping who can hit the ground running. The ideal candidate will be someone who understands the ins and outs of lawn maintenance and can work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Lawn Care: Perform a variety of lawn care tasks, including mowing, edging, trimming, blowing, and leaf removal. Must be proficient with commercial-grade equipment, including zero-turn mowers, line trimmers, edgers, and blowers.
Landscaping: Assist with landscaping projects, including planting, mulching, pruning, and bed maintenance. Experience in landscape design and installation is a plus.
Equipment Maintenance: Regularly inspect, clean, and maintain all equipment to ensure it’s in excellent working condition. Report any issues immediately to the supervisor.
Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, ensuring their lawns and landscapes meet their expectations. Address any concerns promptly and courteously.
Safety: Adhere to all safety guidelines and company procedures, ensuring a safe work environment for yourself and your team.
Team Collaboration: Work effectively as part of a team, communicating clearly and contributing to a positive work environment.
Qualifications:
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in lawn care, landscaping, or grounds maintenance is required. Applicants without this experience will not be considered.
Equipment Proficiency: Must be highly skilled in operating and maintaining commercial-grade lawn care equipment.
Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license is required, and you must have a clean driving record. Reliable transportation to and from our work site is also a must.
Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions.
Work Ethic: Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work are essential. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and is eager to contribute to our company’s success.
Availability: Must be available to work full-time, including some weekends and overtime during peak seasons.
