25 year old established & steadily busy painting contractor, with an excellent reputation, is looking for entry level exterior painters, for immediate hire.
This position requires you to have an eagerness to learn, with the ability to follow instructions and accept guidance and constructive criticism as part of learning a skilled high demand trade.
Initial duties include pressure washing, moving & cleaning equipment, performing prep work such as masking off windows, scraping, sanding & caulking. Once basic skills of the trade are learned & performed correctly, additional higher level painting skills will continue to be taught. Our goal is to develop trainees into fully skilled (& higher paid) painters.
Applicant should be comfortable working outdoors, able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds, be (or become) comfortable working from ladders.
This is a permanent full-time employee position.
Work week is Monday-Friday 7:30-4, with no nights or weekends required.
We offer competitive pay, with continued progress monitoring.
Holiday pay & other compensation also available after 90 days.
Paid vacation available after 1 year.
Requirements:
FL drivers license and dependable transportation (Job locations vary throughout Pinellas County)
Be able to furnish verifiable work references, showing steady work history
Be able to work our set schedule without repeated tardiness or absences
Be able to conduct oneself in a positive and friendly manner with coworkers and customers
Be able to understand oral & written instructions given in English
