GENERAL OFFICE POSITION For Locksmith Company
No experience is necessary. We will train the right person.
This is a great job for anyone.
We have a position available on 9th Street North in Downtown St Petersburg.
We have free on-site parking.
Hours of operation are Monday to Friday 8:30 to 5:00.
This job is 40 hours a week and includes benefits.
ABOUT THE POSITION
Job involves answering phone, organizing service calls, processing invoices and light filing.
There is occasional work in our retail store.
Basic duties which may involve getting your hands dirty.
Nothing that simple soap and water can't handle.
Training is provided under the indirect supervision of a master locksmith.
We've been told it's a lot of fun because every day something different comes through the front door.
VERIFY YOU MEET THESE REQUIREMENTS
Good handwriting (printing) and spelling is required.
Mechanical aptitude skills required. You should be comfortable turning a screwdriver.
Basic carpentry skills required. You should be comfortable swinging a hammer to hang a picture on a wall.
You should be comfortable drilling a hole with an electric drill.
After approval of initial application we conduct a mechanical skills test.
If you know the difference between a square and a circle you should pass.
We are a DRUG FREE WORKPLACE and conduct a pre-hire drug test.
Candidates are required to pass a drug test before beginning employment.
We conduct a criminal background check. Not all offenses disqualify a candidate. Please inquire for more details.
A valid Florida driver license is required. If you have any violations in the last 3 years please include details.
Violations generally will not exclude you from consideration.
If you have a DUI in the last 10 years please include details. A DUI in the last 3 years will disqualify you.
A first time DUI between 3 and 10 years old generally will not exclude you from consideration.
We are looking for a person who meets these requirements.
