Looking for an experienced ranch hand to work on Saturdays and/or Sundays.
(Additional hours could be available).
Requirements- HORSE EXPERIENCE; ability to recognize if horse is having a health issue, 100% reliable transportation and within 35 minutes of Odessa (Keystone). Must show up on time. This is a well managed farm with multiple barns for boarding only (not a show or training farm)- not looking to micro-manage, so need to be a self starter and mindful.
Duties include detailed horse care, turning out/bringing in, hosing in summer, giving meds/supplements, feed, hay and water. Mucking and bedding the stalls.
Additional requirements:
-Ability to care for 21 horses
-Lifting 50 lbs.
-Handyman experience a plus
-Cleaning barns
-Communicating and working well with others
-Must speak english
