We are a busy small business owned bike shop that is still growing looking for a service manager. Recently we have become a Trek retailer but also have the ability to sell and carry other brands. Customers tend to love our Customer Service, Knowledge, Humor and all around passion for the industry. Staff gets along with each other very well and we are looking for someone to vibe with us. We plan to keep growing and growing in this industry all the while ensuring our staff are taken care of. Future plans include a brand new website with ecommerce.

Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repairs on customer bicycles
- Assemble new bikes for showroom
- Safety checks, upgrades and accessory installation on all bikes
- Continue to learn and grow with the tools provided
- Knowledge and know how with high end bikes and parts
- Keep shop clean and organized
- Communicate with customers and staff
- Meet deadlines and customers expectations
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on store bikes
- Troubleshoot, diagnose any issues and perform safety checks
- Follow up with customers about process of their repairs or service reminder follow ups
- Ability to use a computer for notes and ordering parts
- Inventory management of shop supplies and ensuring management knows what to order when supplies are out or low.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently if needed
- Ability to work and maintain E-Bikes
- Ability to ascend / descend ladders
- Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, walk, stand and sit for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift, push, pull, leverage and carry 50+ pounds without assistance
- Always keep need of customers in mind
- Solid grasp of current technology (Electronic Shifting(Di2, AXS), Bottom Brackets)
- Ability to use hand tools with repetitive motions
- Quickly diagnose issues and write up work orders
Proven experience in bicycle mechanics and repairs i.e. electronic shifting and hydraulics
Previous experience in a supervisors position.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent customer service skills
Knowledge of different bicycle types, parts, and accessories
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
