Position Overview
The Landscaping Foreman will be responsible for overseeing and executing landscaping services across 42 commercial properties between Hillsborough and Pinnelas County. This individual will serve as the on-site leader for daily operations, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards. The Foreman will manage tasks such as site maintenance, crew coordination, and client satisfaction while upholding the highest level of professionalism.
Responsibilities
Site Management: Provide routine landscaping services to all assigned commercial locations, ensuring each property is maintained to contract specifications.
Documentation: Take clear before-and-after photos of each site visit for quality assurance and client reporting.
Crew Leadership: Direct and supervise crew members, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and ensuring adherence to company standards.
Client Relations: Act as a professional representative of the company, maintaining positive communication with property managers and clients when necessary.
Safety & Compliance: Enforce safety protocols, maintain equipment in working condition, and ensure all work complies with industry regulations.
Problem-Solving: Identify and address issues on site (e.g., irrigation problems, plant health concerns) and report or resolve them promptly.
Scheduling & Reporting: Coordinate daily routes, track completed work, and provide timely updates to management.
Qualifications
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (required).
Previous landscaping or grounds maintenance experience (minimum 3 years preferred).
Demonstrated leadership ability with experience managing crews.
Ability to communicate effectively in English; bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Basic proficiency with mobile apps or digital tools for photo documentation and reporting.
