This is a working position!
Responsibilities include but not limited:
-Running daily maintenance with a crew (mowing, edging, weed eating, trimming and blowing)
-Spraying herbicide
-Reporting insect, infestations or irrigation issues immediately to operations manager and or personally treating small infestations.
-Enforcing company policies related to safety, equipment upkeep and training
- Overseeing employee training and development
-Being proactive to ensure property excellence
Knowledge and skill requirements:
- Clean driver's license for a minimum of three years (insurance requirement)
- Strong knowledge of landscaping equipment, tools, machinery and how to operate them all
- Knowledge of Florida landscape plants and pruning requirements
- Ability to lift 50lbs, work in Florida heat and humidity, able to walk, bend, stand and sit
- Ability to collaborate with a team
- Effective time management skills with a sense of urgency
- Irrigation and Pest control knowledge
- Bilingual a plus, not required
$24/hr
A 10-hour day, 4 days per week
