Commercial Landscaping Company in South Tampa- is hiring a full-time or part-time mechanic. Must be an EXPERT in repairing lawn maintenance equipment and repairing small trucks. Landcare has been around for 50 years and is servicing Pinellas, Pasco and Hillsborough counties.
We are seeing a skilled and reliable Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on trucks and landscaping tools. This role requires strong understanding to diagnose and fix all equipment. Must have knowledge of 2-cycle equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform regular maintenance
Inspect, diagnose and repair trucks and equipment
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and warranty
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations
Communicate effectively with the team and management
Physical Requirements:
Able to lift and carry heavy objects, stand, walk, bend, sit, kneel and variety of positions to be able to fix equipment
Must be able to work in various outside weather conditions
Qualifications:
Able to work independently, strong communication skills, able to fix 2-cycle equipment
Knowledge of small landscaping tools and trucks
Must have clean and valid driver's license for a minimum of 3 years
Spanish is a plus
Clean background
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to details.
This is a full-time or a part-time position starting at 6:15am (part-time till 10:30am)
Must have your own tools!
