Staynue is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Handyman and General Maintenance Technician.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the overall upkeep and functionality of our facilities.
Responsibilities:
General Maintenance:
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as repairing or replacing electrical wiring, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
Conduct inspections to identify and address issues promptly.
Handle basic carpentry tasks, including repairing doors, windows, and walls.
Maintain and repair various equipment and machinery.
Handyman Services:
Respond to service requests and troubleshoot issues reported by staff or Guests
Fix and maintain building systems, including lighting, locks, and appliances.
Install and repair fixtures, furniture, and other items as needed.
Address emergency maintenance issues in a timely manner.
Documentation:
Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
Report on completed tasks and provide recommendations for preventive measures.
Communicate effectively with management regarding ongoing projects and potential issues.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Handyman or Maintenance Technician.
Solid understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques.
Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training is a plus.
