Job description:
Key Responsibilities:
Press Operation: Set up and operate wallpaper printing presses according to production requirements.
Job Order Analysis: Review job tickets to determine required quantities, stock type, colors, and any special printing instructions.
Machine Setup: Prepare and align press equipment, including rollers, ink, and paper, ensuring all settings match job specifications.
Quality Assurance: Inspect printed sheets to verify print quality and make adjustments as needed to meet established standards.
Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions, perform routine maintenance, and conduct minor repairs to ensure optimal performance.
Supply Management: Monitor and maintain inventory of essential press materials, such as ink, paper, and printing plates.
Production Tracking: Record and report daily production totals and any relevant shift information.
Work Area Maintenance: Keep the press area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and operational procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
Plate Installation: Mount printing plates on press units and adjust for accurate alignment and pressure.
Ink Handling: Mix and prepare ink colors as needed and ensure ink fountains are properly filled for continuous operation.
