Maintenance Worker Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable, skilled maintenance worker to perform essential upkeep tasks throughout our facility. In this position, you will be responsible for a wide variety of activities such as repairs and some cleaning to ensure that our facilities are both tidy and functional.
Maintenance Job Responsibilities:
Inspects the building, grounds, and equipment
Handles necessary cleaning, repairs and maintenance
Complies with all company safety regulations.
Reports any issues to the maintenance supervisor and/or property manager
Responds to repair and maintenance requests in a timely fashion
Collaborates with the maintenance team and contractors as needed
Reads and follows directions from the maintenance supervisor and/or property manager
Uses equipment, including power tools, hand tools, electric tools, and plumbing tools responsibly
Work Hours and Benefits:
Full Time - 40 Hour work week
Paid Bi-Weekly-Hourly Rate
Health/Dental/Vision/RX/Life Insurance after 90-day probation period
5 Sick & 1 Personal Day per year
Time & a half for over 40 hrs. per week
Some weekend or after hours required for emergencies
Maintenance Worker Qualifications and Skills:
Handles the physical demands of the job, including standing, bending, pulling, pushing, climbing, and lifting at least
50 pounds.
Must have experience in drywall and T-11 board repairs and installs
Collaborates with maintenance workers, maintenance managers, and contractors.
Education and Experience Requirements:
At least one year of building maintenance, construction, plumbing, or electrician experience is strongly preferred
A certification in building maintenance is a plus
Must have a driver’s license and own transportation
