Job Overview
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation of commercial foodservice equipment. This role requires a keen attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Installer will ensure that all installations meet quality standards and comply with safety regulations.
Responsibilities
Perform installations of equipment and systems according to specifications and industry standards.
Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on installed systems to ensure optimal performance.
Utilize tools and equipment effectively, including the use of power tools, angle grinders, welding equipment and ladders.
Troubleshoot issues that arise during installation or maintenance processes.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and within deadlines.
Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while on-site.
Qualifications
Proven experience in construction, hospitality or a related field is preferred, but not required.
Familiarity with power tools, specifically the angle grinder is highly desirable.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team environment.
A valid driver’s license may be required for travel to job sites.
Open availability and ability to travel for up to 2 weeks at a time, with average trips lasting 4 days or less.
