Position
Our Residential Remodel Foreman oversees daily operations at residential construction sites, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the required standards. This role involves leading crews, managing resources, and maintaining quality control throughout the remodeling process. Responsible for tasks ranging from planning and scheduling, to problem-solving and communication.
· Supervision and Leadership:
Directing and motivating construction crews, delegating tasks, and ensuring adherence to project plans and safety regulations.
· Resource Management:
Managing materials, equipment, and manpower to optimize project efficiency and stay within budget.
· Quality Control:
Inspecting work to ensure it meets quality standards, local codes, and project specifications.
· Safety Compliance:
Enforcing safety regulations and promoting safe work practices on the job site.
· Communication:
Effectively communicating with project managers, clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
· Problem-Solving:
Identifying and resolving issues that arise during the remodeling process, such as material shortages, design discrepancies, or unforeseen site conditions.
· Scheduling and Planning:
Developing and maintaining construction schedules, coordinating work activities, and ensuring timely project completion.
· Training and Mentoring:
Guiding and training junior staff or apprentices, providing instruction on proper work techniques and safety procedures.
· Documentation:
Maintaining accurate records of daily activities, material usage, and other relevant project information.
