Job title: CNC Machinist/Operator wood and acrylics
Great Opportunity for CNC Operator with experience in millwork, hardwoods, plastics or a similar industry. Able to read and understand shop drawings is a plus.
Operate different machines, such as table saw, routers and power drills.
The candidate should be able to set up and operate CNC machine to cut wood and acrylics.
The ideal candidate should be able to write/edit programs, using Mastercam and other software.
The candidate should be able to locate and gather the material, cutting tools and fixtures required to complete the work handed to him by the production manager and engineer.
The candidate should be able to set up jobs and perform first article inspections on all parts.
The candidate must be willing and able to perform routine maintenance of shop equipment.
The candidate should be able to design and manufacture various work holding fixtures and inspection gauges as necessary.
The candidate will be responsible for keeping his work area clean and organized.
Additional duties as assigned.
Must work well independently and as a team player.
Able to lift 50 to 75lbs
