We are a family oriented manufacturing facility based in Largo who makes custom trims, panels, and components. We are hiring for a Shop Helper to join our team. This is a full time - entry level position with growth opportunity for the right individual. Our ideal candidate is someone who can read a tape measure, use a hand drill, motivated to work hands on, learn new things, and seeking an opportunity grow within the manufacturing industry.
As a Shop Helper, you will be trained in manufacturing and woodworking operations. You will assist in various tasks, including helping out with labor as needed, loading/unloading materials, using a hand drill to assemble final product, and quality checking final products. (There is opportunity to be cross trained in operating the Edge bander and Vertical Drill Machines.)
Schedule: Monday-Friday 10am to 5pm/6pm.
Qualifications:
1. Must be able to read a tape measure and use a drill.
2. Must be eager to learn, have a positive attitude, and be a team player.
3. Willingness to be cross trained and pick up on new tasks is necessary.
4. Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for long periods of time.
5. Must have reliable transportation with the ability to commit to the work schedule.
Starting pay: $16.00 per hour with performance based increases and benefits after the probationary period. 100% employer paid medical insurance, 50% employer paid dental, vision, PTO, paid holidays.
