About the Role:
As a Financial Support Specialist, you are responsible for:
-Accurate and efficient processing of customer and vendor invoices and answering Customer Service Calls and Tasks in a Timely Manner
-Setting up new vendors and customers, maintaining their files (including hard copies and data entry), and managing those corresponding emails and calls.
-Cross-trained in all areas for back-up support to other employees (must be able to perform any of the other jobs in office).
-Process POs and receivers (as well as coded invoices) daily and ensure their accuracy.
-Print receiver reports, assign GL codes to coded invoices, and do POD maintenance.
-Assisting with related special projects (as required).
-Monitoring customer accounts for Non-Payment, late payment, and other Irregularities.
-Researching and resolving payment discrepancies.
-Supporting other staff, taking on month-end closing procedures, and helping with inventory tasks (as needed).
-Adhering to the additional responsibilities that may be delegated from the Plant or General Manager
About You:
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
-Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
-Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
-Good organizational and communication skills.
-Strong problem-solving and data analysis skills.
-Good interpersonal and customer relation skills.
-A working knowledge of financial business acumen.
