Provide support and clerical duties for manufacturing stockroom and raw/purchased materials and parts control.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES including but not limited to the following:
⢠Stockroom Activities
⢠Receive and count stock items, and record data manually or using computer. identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment.
⢠Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas .
⢠Issue or distribute materials, products, parts, and supplies to customers or coworkers, based on information from incoming requisitions.
⢠Prepare and maintain records and reports of inventories, price lists, shortages, shipments, expenditures, and goods used or issued.
⢠Conduct physical inventory, verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors
⢠Projects for other departments and various material control functions as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school education or more preferred; or at least three years related stockroom clerk experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that are typical in an office environment.
