Job Overview

We are seeking experienced and passionate Job Coaches/Employment Specialists to join our team as 1099 subcontractors. This flexible role requires individuals dedicated to helping clients with disabilities and other barriers to employment, including felons, secure meaningful work.

As a Job Coach, you will work directly with clients, offering individualized job coaching and employment support. You will also collaborate with employers to facilitate smooth onboarding and retention processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one job coaching and employment support for clients with disabilities and other barriers.

Assist clients in building job readiness skills, including resume writing, interview preparation, and workplace etiquette.

Establish strong relationships with employers to ensure successful job placements and provide ongoing support.

Conduct regular follow-ups with clients and employers to monitor progress and resolve challenges.

Collaborate with vocational rehabilitation counselors and other service providers to deliver comprehensive support.

Work with individuals with disabilities, including autism, Down syndrome, intellectual disabilities, and other barriers such as felony records.

Maintain detailed and organized records of client progress and employer interactions.

Job Requirements:

Education and Experience:

Degree in a related field, OR

Associate’s degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience, OR

High school diploma with 4 years of relevant experience in job coaching, employment services, or a related field.

Experience working with individuals with disabilities and barriers such as felony records.

Strong interpersonal skills and a client-focused approach to building relationships with employers and clients.

Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple clients effectively.

Reliable transportation to travel within the designated counties.

Must pass a Level 2 background check.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bilingual (Spanish): Strongly preferred.

Experience working in vocational rehabilitation or similar settings.

Knowledge of the local job market and employer networks within the counties listed.

Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in dynamic environments.
