Currently we are seeking a Crew Coordinator for an ocean tug company based in Tampa, FL. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the fleet is adequately staffed and for arranging all travel for crew members. This is a shoreside position requiring candidates to be based in the greater Tampa area.

Job Duties:

· Communicate with vessels to identify crew change requirements and ETA’s.

· Book air travel, crew boats, ground transportation and overnight accommodation as needed for crew. Provide travel itineraries to vessel crew members to ensure efficient crew changes.

· Coordinate crew change information with vessels, operational staff, customers, facility security personnel, and dispatch as needed to assure access to vessel through third party docks and fleets, etc.

· Complete Vessel Daily Crewing Sheets for payroll.

· Update and assure current crew board is correct.

· Oversee Master Crew List to assure proper crewing level.

· Coordinate unscheduled crew changes as necessary.

· Communicate with the Director of Operations on missed crew changes, no calls/no shows, disciplinary documentation, evaluations, transfers, leave of absence requests, etc.

· Produce Sea Time Letters for crew as requested.

· Complete processing of New Hires in Tampa, FL Office.

· On call for rotational night and weekend duty.

· May be assigned other tasks as appropriate.

Requirements:

· Experience with crewing and/or operations in the maritime industry preferred.

· Proficiency in computer programs including Microsoft Office products.

· Ability to effectively and clearly communicate both verbally and in writing with office personnel, vessels, and outside groups.

· Ability to multitask, setting priorities to meet deadlines and goals.
