A Tampa low voltage company is seeking a part-time Bookkeeper/Office Assistant with a strong background in QuickBooks. The ideal candidate will have prior office experience and be proficient in bookkeeping, specifically using QuickBooks. Additional training will be provided as needed. In office position only.
Position Details:
- Flexible Part-Time Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM
- Compensation: hourly , depending on prior bookkeeping and QuickBooks experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Data entry of financial transactions into QuickBooks
- Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconciling bank and credit card statements within QuickBooks
- Preparing and filing payroll and sales tax returns using QuickBooks
- Tracking and managing expenses
- Assisting with month-end and year-end close processes
- Maintaining organized and accurate financial records
- Arrange travel for employees
- As needed advertise for new employees, review resumes, conduct phone interviews and set up 2nd round in office interviews for potential technicians
Required Qualifications:
- Previous office experience – Must have – General Office Experience and Accounting Experience
Also Prefer Some Background In – HR and Construction
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, including experience with accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Exceptional work ethic and time management skills
- Must e able to multi task on a daily basis
Preferred Experience:
- 3-5 years of QuickBooks experience
