Currently hiring to fill a Cashier and also a Vitamin Associate position in our South Tampa health food store. Responsibilities will include cashiering and stocking, our Vitamin Associate will also assist customers with vitamin/supplement purchases. Our employees do a bit of everything to keep the business running cleanly and smoothly. We always present a friendly and helpful attitude with all other employees and customers!
Must be available 7 days a week; 20-40 hours a week available, flexible scheduling.
Responsibilities:
Welcome and identify customer needs
Using the cash register/POS system to check out customers
Explain products and services to customers
Monitor inventory to ensure product is stocked
Stocking and cleaning the store inside
Make sure everything is neat, clean and free from clutter.
Qualifications:
Must be able to pass pre-employment drug and background check
Retail/Sales experience (grocery/health food background is a plus!)
Experience using a cash register/POS system/Cash handling
Ability to count & stock inventory
Ability to thrive in fast paced environment
Ability to build rapport with all customers
Excellent verbal communication skills
Must have the ability to compete tasks with minimal supervision
Must be available 7 days a week
