Video/data subcontractor teams:
DOTCOM is looking to add new mdu sub contractor’s to install video/data on our commercial side . We are looking for qualified contractors with a telecommunications cabling background.
Position to remain open until filled.
Mdu installation Requirements:
1. Have a minimum of 1 year direct or related experience in the field
2. Be able to pass a pre- Drug Screening and Criminal Background Check
3. Have a clean driving record and valid Driver's License
4. Be willing to travel
5. Be willing to work (days/nights)
6. Have a positive attitude and be highly motivated
7. Possess excellent analytical skills and ability to problem solve
8. Ability to distinguish varying wire colors
Essential Functions:
1. Understanding and ability to install cable
2. Proficient in types of terminating, installing and testing both inside and outside plant
3. Responsible for the installation, termination, splicing, testing, certification and documentation of video/data cabling as well as related video/data maintenance activities
4. Telecom certifications are a HUGE plus
5. Ability to read and understand complex prints- video/data designs and equipment installations
6. Have a desire and ability to support customer needs with strong attention to detail
7. Perform all duties according to prescribed safety procedures and use appropriate safety equipment
