We are currently seeking a skilled classic car restoration auto-body technician/Custom painter.
Our ideal candidate will have experience with custom paint.
Paint surfaces of vehicles using spray-painting equipment, power tools and work aids utilizing specific surface preparation and painting techniques
Inspect panels to be painted for body repair, prepping and/or buffing defect
Mix to specified color using standard formulas or color charts
Sand, mask, blend, and polish finish to match surrounding areas. Use of a touch up paint tool may be used to apply or retouch paint as necessary
Keep track of supplies inventory and notify responsible individual when supplies are needed
Keep work area clean and orderly
Must have own tools.
We are very busy and have a lot of work for the right person. Must be reliable and a team player.
Experience with classic car restorations is highly desirable. Metal fabrication and welding experience is highly desirable. Ability to make a car straight and ready for paint is a MUST.
