We are currently seeking a person with the following credentials: General Contractor, Engineering Intern that has their FE. Florida licensed building inspector for structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing.
Belt Engineering LLC projects include multi-family, residential, commercial, condominium restoration, threshold, and private provider inspections.
Must have at least 1 year of experience performing plan review and inspections is required. Reading and interpreting blueprints/plans, specifications, codes, and standards is required.
Primary duties include performing inspections on commercial, and residential buildings that are under different stages of development to ensure compliance with latest building codes and ordinances. Preparation of written and electronic reports and correction notices are necessary.
The work is predominately field located but may include office assignments.
Must be able to pass a background check. Have valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
