We are seeking a motivated and reliable Electrician Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will support licensed electricians with daily tasks, assist in installations, maintenance, and repairs, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and up to code. A strong understanding of electrical tools, materials, and techniques—especially the ability to thread cables and pipes—is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist electricians with installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment.
Measure, cut, bend, and thread cables, conduits, and pipes to required specifications.
Pull wires through conduits and feed electrical cables through walls, floors, and ceilings.
Prepare, organize, and maintain tools, materials, and work areas.
Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with electrical codes and regulations.
Load, unload, and transport electrical supplies and equipment as needed.
Perform basic troubleshooting and report issues to supervising electricians.
Support the team with other general labor tasks as required.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as an electrician helper, laborer, or in a similar role preferred.
Ability to thread cables and pipes accurately and efficiently.
Familiarity with basic electrical tools, equipment, and safety procedures.
Physical stamina to lift, carry, and work in various environments (indoors, outdoors, confined spaces).
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn from licensed electricians.
Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.
Working Conditions:
Work may be performed in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
Exposure to varying weather conditions and job-site environments.
PPE provided and required at all times.
This job starts off as temporary but has a good chance at becoming permanent. The project is in Land O Lakes
