Affordable Displays is a privately owned, family-run manufacturer in business for 25+ years. WE BUILD FOR PARKS LIKE UNIVERSAL, SEAWORLD, HARD ROCK CAFE, SIX FLAGS, AND MORE.
Key Responsibilities
Production Shop Mindset - efficiency in all aspects of building and finishing products. Sense of urgency to complete projects required.
Set up and operate variety of woodworking machines and use various hand tools to fabricate cabinetry and display units from scratch – from start to finished product.
Use cut lists, drawings, and plans to construct or repair product, and sequence cutting shaping operations.
Verify dimensions/check fit to ensure meeting project specifications.
Work Hours Monday – Friday 7:30am to 4pm – (with occasional overtime hours available)
Skills Required
Reliable - Come to work on time every day - working to work overtime and some Saturdays when needed
5 plus years of experience- cabinet building, woodworking and laminating
Read a tape measure.
Read shop drawings.
Experience in using: table saws, chop saw, drill press, routers, and hand tools.
Ability to work in fast-paced PRODUCTION SHOP environment
Willing and able to meet deadlines in timely manner
Work both independently and as team player when needed
Self-starter who can work efficiently with minimal directions and guidelines
Must have Reliable Transportation
Ability to lift 60 lbs. unassisted
