Functions and Responsibilities:
Participate in all job site safety briefings and is consistently up to date on all job safety skills.
Always adhere to all industry and company safety standards and policies including the use of personal protective Equipment (PPE).
Ensure that all tree care work is performed in accordance with industry and company standards.
Ensure that all equipment safety and maintenance procedures are followed.
Report for duty at the designated location on time each day.
Follow directions from the Crew Leader.
Communicate well with all crew members and crew leader.
Safely feeds brush and small wood into brush chipper.
Keep work area clean and orderly.
Unload, lay out, prepare and stow materials, tools and equipment at work site.
Work from the ground using handsaws, pole saws, and chainsaws and be able to prune from a ladder and arial lift,
Drive trucks or operate other equipment as assigned.
Report the need for any repairs to crew leader.
Safeguard employees and the public from hazards in and around the work area.
Remain in frequent voice communication with coworkers.
Stump grinding
Other duties as assigned for successful operation of the business.
