Job Overview:
We are a Heavy Vocation Truck and Equipment dealership seeking reliable and experienced diesel mechanics in Brooksville, Florida to maintain, repair, and upfit heavy-duty trucks and equipment. The ideal candidate must be capable of handling all aspects of maintenance and repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on heavy trucks and equipment
Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, brake inspections, and tire rotations
Conduct DOT inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations
Troubleshoot engine, transmission, and driveline issues
Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and service performed
Utilize diagnostic tools and follow manufacturer specifications for repairs
Test the repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure the work is up to the manufacturer’s specifications.
Keep work area clean, organized, and safe
Requirements:
✅ At least 2 years’ experience as a Heavy Truck Mechanic or Diesel Technician (Welding Certification a plus)
✅ Knowledge of diesel engines, air brake systems, and hydraulic components
✅ Ability to use diagnostic tools and repair manuals
✅ Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
✅ Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required)
✅ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in various weather conditions
