Responsibilities:
Oversee all phases of the project from initiation to completion, ensuring effective planning and execution.
Manage field operations, including scheduling personnel and subcontractors, and handling material and equipment procurement to keep the project on or under budget.
Identify and estimate changes to the contract scope, track change orders, and secure written approvals before starting any work.
Prepare and submit accurate monthly draw requests in a timely manner.
Attend job site meetings and ensure clear and prompt communication with customers, vendors, and field personnel.
Conduct regular project site visits to ensure that quality, manpower, and safety objectives are being met.
Address and resolve issues related to Change Orders, Requests for Information, inspections, and warranty or punch list items.
Create and manage Submittals, RFIs, As-built Drawings, and Close-Out documents as needed.
Build and maintain effective project teams through leadership and mentoring.
Participate in or lead safety training, identify and address potential job site hazards, and work closely with the Safety Advisor to ensure compliance with safety programs.
Qualifications:
OSHA 30 certification
Excellent time-management, organizational, leadership, and communication skills
BSEE or Construction Management Degree strongly preferred
Local Project Management Experience: 5+ years (Preferred)
Electrical: 10+ years (Preferred)
Ability to read and understand blueprints and specs
Ability to prepare construction schedules
Prior knowledge and/or ability to learn Accubid Estimating software for pricing Change Orders
Prior experience with Bluebeam and/or FieldWire is a plus
Strong verbal, written, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Strong customer service skills required
