Immediate Opening (Starting Pay: $900-1,050 per week) plus $500 sign on bonus

Job description

Must have recent experience in landscaping removals and installs, mowing, shrub trimming, palm trimming and tree trimming a plus with experience leading a crew. English required, Bilingual preferred.

YOU WILL BE PERFORMING ALL LANDSCAPING DUTIES ALONG WITH YOUR CREW.

Job Duties:

Supervises landscape crew members and installers to produce high quality results safely and efficiently.

Performs a high standard of work alongside crewmembers while preventing idleness.

Oversees quality control on jobs.

Responsible for identifying and fixing problems on jobsites.

Meets with clients on site when required to discuss the project plan and timeline.

Upholds company policies from all perspectives including breaks, lunches, and uniforms.

Meets with supervisors to plan and improve the department.

Utilizes apps for documenting efficiency-based logs related to time tracking.

Responsible for the care and maintenance of tools.

Makes on-site design adjustments and necessary design changes when appropriate after collaborating with Account Manager.

Conducts daily preparation for needed materials, equipment, crew members and job awareness to produce high quality results safely and efficiently.

Maintains inventory, organization and cleanliness of tools, supplies, and equipment within the enclosed trailer.

Performs basic routine care and safety checks on vehicles and trailers prior to leaving the company in the morning.

Responsible for understanding and using technology software: LMN, Outlook mail and others as needed.

Monitoring job sites and photos on jobsite and client property areas of concern and communicate for corrective action.

Skills & requirements

Knowledge of Mowing, Shrub trimming, Palm Trimming, Elevating trees and Plant and Shrub installs, etc.

Outstanding time management and supervisory skills.

Ability to efficiently complete projects on time and within budget.

Must have leadership skills to train, develop, and manage a team to complete work.

Must have the ability to install and manage landscape installation from a map, photo or drawing.

Excellent and timely communication skills with the crew, leadership, and with customers.

Able to interact professionally and take direction from account managers.

Awareness of utility markings such as water, gas, and internet as well as protection of irrigation, sewer and low voltage lighting on properties.

Proficiency with equipment (Bobcat skid steer, edgers, line trimmers, hedge trimmers, blowers, mowers, sod cutters, chippers etc.)

Ability to pull and maneuver various sizes of trailers.

Qualifications

Required:

Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with our mission, vision, and values.

Minimum 2 years of Florida landscape experience.

Valid & Florida Driver's License, must be insurable by our carrier.

Must have reliable transportation.

Ability to accurately follow oral and written instructions in English.

Preferred:

Bilingual (English/Spanish) is strongly desirable.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Performs duties in outdoor settings. Requires frequent bending, twisting, walking, squatting, and lifting up to 75 lbs. Regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, outside weather (heat or cold), for extended periods each day.
