Established marine contractor with lots of work, seeking responsible individual to become a foreman in 2025 and eventually a part owner after 24 months.
We will train anyone without carpentry or construction experience however you MUST meet the following requirements - and you will be screened for these skills. If you do not meet these minimum requirements please do not respond.
1. Must know how to swim and/or tread water. We hold swim tests at a local park.
2. Prior boat operator experience - no exceptions
3. Fit and able to work up to 6hrs in hot weather during summer months.
4. Bilingual Spanish preferred.
5. Good manual dexterity with hand tools.
6. Know how to read a tape measure backwards and upside down.
7. Team player - we work in teams of two and we rely on one another while on the barge and at job sites.
Prior construction experience certainly helpful but not a requirement.
We offer steady work around Hillsborough and Pinellas County and we have a large prior customer base who values our work.
We start everyone at $20 per hour and quickly raise to $25 after a short time. Additional pay is available within the first year. We also offer performance bonuses, so for the right responsible individual, you can earn upwards of 60K as a foreman no problem.
