Millwork Project Manager

Cornerstone Interior Woodworking, Inc. specializes in standing/running architectural trim, wood and custom casework/cabinetry, bench seating, hardware and installation for Casework / Cabinetry.

Millwork Project Manager needed for a millwork contractor specializing in commercial work. Seeking candidates with project management experience in the millwork industry, commercial interiors preferred. Requires a strong knowledge of custom woodworking fabrication, installation and quality control. Must be able to manage multiple projects concurrently, read and understand plans, field measure and perform jobsite layout. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. Your attention to detail, leadership skills, and expertise in millwork will be essential to the success of our projects.

Millwork Project Manager Duties

-Review Plans to full understand Scope of Work

-Study Specifications to understand all aspects of project

-Oversee Shop drawing start up and review complete sets before sending for approval

-Determine who suppliers will be based on best pricing.

-Determine Sub contractor to use for installation and issue contract.

-Attend jobsite meetings

-Set up Vendors with Purchase Order and dates of all deliveries

-Send out RFI’s if necessary during shop drawing time

-Any changes that increase our scope of work send out change orders requests

-Monitor the quality of the materials received from the vendors. Note any deficiencies.

-Always check for the quality of the installation

-Email to General Contractor Contact person for any questions, problems, delays

-Provide Cornerstone Punch List prior to contractors punch times. Follow up when work is complete.

Requirements/Qualifications of the Millwork Project Manager:

-Interior millwork experience is a plus

-Proven experience as construction project manager

-In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles

-Good knowledge of MS Office

-Outstanding communication and negotiation skills

-Excellent organizational and time-management skills

-A team player with leadership abilities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Schedule:

8 hour shift

Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person
