Socia's Painting is a family owned licensed and insured commercial painting business that has been serving Pinellas County since 1989. We are a small business that prides itself on high customer satisfaction and professional workmanship. We are looking for a hard-working, dependable, self-motivated painter to join our team.
Job description
Preparing workspace for the proper adhesion of new paint and finishes by pressure washing, scraping, sanding.
Ability to move heavy objects such as furniture and mirrors.
Proper covering of workspace with dropcloths, Plastic/paper and taping.
Proper application of Caulking and patching
Painting walls, ceiling, floors, base/trim by various techniques such as spraying, rolling, or brushing.
Perform special refinishing tasks including wood surface preparation staining and sealing.
Proper cleaning up workspace and equipment after paint or finishes are applied.
Reliable transportation to the job and willingness to drive up to an hour for some job locations
Able and willing to follow instruction per project manager.
Able to work efficiently and pay close attention to detail.
Considerable physical activity. Requires heavy lifting, Pushing or pulling of objects 50+ lbs. Must be capable to climb and work from tall ladders, be on your feet, and withstanding the heat all day.
Responsibilities may include other duties that are not listed but deemed necessary by project manager to ensure efficient production of services to customers at all time. Job Experience: 3+ year (preferred) related to the duties above
Pay: Depending on job experience. Weekly pay.
Must possess a valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
Background check will be conducted.
