Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Roofer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in roofing and construction, demonstrating proficiency in various techniques and tools necessary for the successful installation, repair, and maintenance of roofs. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Must have a driver license and reliable transportation.
Duties
-Install, repair, and maintain roofing systems using a variety of materials including shingles, metal, and tiles.
-Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete roofing tasks.
-Perform heavy lifting as required during the installation process.
-Collaborate with team members on construction site activities to ensure safety and efficiency.
-Execute restoration projects on existing roofs, ensuring quality workmanship.
-Engage in carpentry tasks such as frame carpentry, trim carpentry.
-Apply caulking and other sealing materials to ensure waterproofing of roofs.
-Must have a driver license and reliable transportation.
Skills
-Extensive experience with hand tools and power tools relevant to roofing tasks.
-Strong background in construction practices with a focus on roofing systems.
-Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
-Knowledge of concrete forming techniques and fabrication processes.
-Experience in carpentry, including frame carpentry and trim carpentry skills.
-Familiarity with heavy lifting protocols and safety measures on construction sites.
-Maintenance Person experience is a plus for additional versatility on the job site.
