Metal cutting and shaping:
Utilizing cutting tools like plasma cutters, saws, or shears to precisely cut metal pieces to size.
Metal bending and forming:
Using bending machines or hand tools to shape metal components as needed.
Welding operations:
Performing various welding techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, or arc welding) to join metal pieces, ensuring proper weld quality and adherence to welding codes.
Grinding and finishing:
Grinding welds to smooth surfaces and removing excess material, as well as performing other finishing operations as required.
Quality control:
Inspecting welds for defects, ensuring proper penetration and adherence to quality standards.
Maintaining equipment:
Cleaning and maintaining welding equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance.
Safety compliance:
Adhering to all safety procedures related to welding and fabrication, including proper personal protective equipment (PPE) usage
Clean driving record and dependable transportation required.
Ability to work overtime and weekends as necessary.
