J&B Fine Cabinetry, a well established high-end Kitchen Design Company, is seeking an part time (as-needed) Delivery and Logistics Assistant. We are looking for a positive, outgoing, service-oriented individual who is willing to do a little heavy lifting. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all cabinetry deliveries are received as ordered, and delivered to the job site without damage. Must have a Florida State Drivers License, and be comfortable driving a large delivery truck. This job will require you to lift heavy objects with the expectation that no damage is done to the product.
Work is offered on an as-needed basis, due to the fact that we are not receiving deliveries every single day of the week.
Job Responsibilities Include:
- Arrive at office to receive deliveries from semi truck.
- Drive our large delivery truck.
- Unload our cabinetry order from semi truck and load into our delivery truck.
- Take inventory of all cabinets that were ordered and verify on the manifest that the full order has been fulfilled and nothing is damaged.
- Deliver our cabinetry to the job site.
- Carefully unload our cabinetry and place into the designated location on the job site.
- Unbox cabinetry so that Cabinet Installer can immediately begin installation.
- Haul away boxes and trash after unboxing and also haul away leftover trash once the installation is completed.
- Deliver within the Tampa Bay region (St. Pete and Pinellas Counties).
- Interface with cabinetry designers as well as cabinetry installers to ensure job site is correctly prepared to receive cabinets.
Job Type: Part Time (As-Needed)
Earnings: $30/hour
Schedule: Amount of work will vary from week to week, but no work is expected on the weekends, and will very rarely be needed outside the hours of 8:00AM to 5:00 PM.
Experience: No prior experience is necessary, but it is preferred if you have any prior experience working for a moving company or cabinet company.
