Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering cases to our customers, picking products from the warehouse, loading them onto the van, and ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. You may from time to time take orders from customers.
Responsibilities:
Deliver cases of paper products to customers promptly, following scheduled routes and instructions.
Pick products from the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in product selection.
Unload trucks and place products in the proper area in the warehouse.
Load products onto the delivery van, ensuring proper handling and securing items for transportation.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery van, including regular inspections and maintenance checks.
Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any customer inquiries or concerns professionally.
Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations, ensuring a safe and accident-free work environment.
Complete delivery paperwork accurately and promptly, including invoices and delivery confirmations.
Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to coordinate deliveries and optimize routes.
Keep warehouse space and work area neat and clean.
Other tasks as needed.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
You must be 25 years of age or older.
Valid Florida driver's license.
Clean driving record.
Proven experience as a delivery driver or similar role.
Experience driving a van or truck.
In this role, you must have the ability to lift and carry heavy items, as well as load and unload delivery vehicles.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in delivery processes.
Willingness to undergo random drug and alcohol tests as part of company policy.
