We are a mortuary transport company providing transportation services to the funeral home industry. We have proudly served the state of Florida for over 35 years.
We are seeking to hire a motivated, full-time mortuary transport driver residing in Pinellas County to support our Tampa Bay clients and surrounding counties for the state of Florida. You will work from home and respond to a call when dispatched. You will need to be available and local to immediately respond to a call assignment while on-call.
Job Description:
· Responsible for the transportation of the deceased person from the facility (i.e., medical facility, hospital, hospice, residential home, etc.) to funeral home or other designated location.
· Interact with families, nurses/hospices, law enforcement in a compassionate and professional manner.
· Respond to all calls/texts/assignments from dispatcher or manager within a timely manner.
· Operate a company-issued cargo van safely while obeying all traffic laws.
· Maintain cleanliness and stock of company-issued vehicles at all times.
· Accurately complete required forms/documents legibly for each transport assignment.
· Place ID tags on the decedent.
· Must be able to work on-call 24 hr. shift (7 am to 7 am) days, nights, and weekends, with assigned 2 days off per week.

Qualifications and Experience:
· Must have a clean and valid Florida driver’s license with no accidents or moving citations within the last 3 years
· Must reside in Pinellas County, Florida
· Professional business attire required. Well-groomed, clean-cut, professional, with no visible tattoos or piercings while wearing a long sleeve dress shirt or suit jacket
· Ability to safely lift and move 150lbs or more repeatedly with or without reasonable accommodation
· Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, and sitting
