SF Operations Generalist

Echelon Cabinetry (an acpi brand) is looking for a Single Family Operations Generalist. The Echelon Cabinetry brand is a U.S. leader in the manufacture and distribution of fine cabinetry and serves home builders, dealers and remodelers in the residential housing market. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE SINGLE FAMILY OPERATIONS GENERALIST:
Research and answer design/installation questions from the field and/or customer.
Help unload truck and check in all service parts from 3PL
Ensure all parts delivered are marked accurately and stored neatly in the warehouse
Manage warehouse inventory accuracy.
Maintain safety stock level of critical path trim/parts items in inventory.
Retrieve service tickets written and pull service parts/pieces for company techs and local sub-contractors.
Open and close the facility on a daily basis.
Work with Field Service to ensure all orders are placed timely.
Ensure all inventory transactions are processed timely.
Assist in Scheduling Warranty Service Appointments.
Assist in scheduling of service and warranty technicians.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS OF THE SINGLE FAMILY OPERATIONS GENERALIST:
Will work with appropriate sales, field personnel and customer service staff in region.
Reports directly to the Operations Manager
EXTERNAL INTERFACE OF THE SINGLE FAMILY OPERATIONS GENERALIST:
Employee will interface with Customers, Outside Contractors, Suppliers, and other Industry groups.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS FOR THE SINGEL FAMILY OPERATIONS GENERALIST:
High School Diploma / GED required.
3+ years of field experience (i.e., cabinet installation, service, order entry and delivery scheduling, and managing subcontractors).
Ability to develop and maintain effective business relationships with building superintendents and subcontractors;
Intermediate skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, & Outlook) is required.
Experience with AS400 or other scheduling software highly preferred.
Excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills.
