CFC also operates 17 Group Homes which are six-bed community integrated homes serving children and adults with developmental disabilities. We specialize in caring for residents with behavioral problems. As a member of our staff, you will be a part of one of these living centers and provide vital around the clock care, which includes nursing and medical oversight, to our residents. This position helps with everyday tasks such as ADL's. These include but are not limited to daily grooming, meal service, risk mitigation and following any applicable behavioral management plans as defined by the resident individual needs. Essential Duties: Actively engages with individuals at all times and provide all necessary supports to meet their needs, including all direct care and service requirements. Identifies hazards or dangerous behaviors in the environment and takes immediate action to avoid, mitigate or eliminate, and report hazardous conditions or unsafe behaviors. Implements electronic and paper documentation of training needs including programming, incident reporting, data collection and behavior observations. Demonstrate competency of required training for Group Homes to include medication administration. Follow good vehicle loading and unloading procedures as well as ensure compliance with good vehicle safety practices. Maintain a driving record in good standing with company standards. Required Qualification: High School Diploma or equivalent education is required.Must be 21 years of age or older. Preferred Qualifications: 1 year experience preferred working with Intellectual/Developmental Disability populations. Working Conditions:
