Job Summary:
As the Israeli Cuisine Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing a menu that highlights the best of Israeli culinary traditions while incorporating your own unique touch. You will work closely with our culinary team to develop new dishes, source high-quality ingredients, and maintain the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
Responsibilities:
Create and execute an authentic Israeli menu that showcases traditional flavors and innovative dishes.
Collaborate with the culinary team to develop seasonal specials and new menu items.
Source and select fresh, high-quality ingredients from local and international suppliers.
Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of taste and presentation.
Train and mentor kitchen staff in Israeli cooking techniques and recipes.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste.
Keep up to date with the latest trends and developments in Israeli cuisine.
Interact with customers and provide exceptional culinary experiences.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a chef specializing in Israeli cuisine.
Strong knowledge of traditional Israeli cooking techniques and recipes.
Creative and innovative approach to menu development.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Certification in culinary arts or equivalent experience is preferred.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
