Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Medical Biller located in Port St Lucie, FL. As a Medical Biller, you will be responsible for processing clean medical claims, demographic entry, charge entry with correct coding, patient payment posting, insurance payment posting, working claim rejections and denials, patient A/R, Credits A/R, claim A/R, missing charge reports, verifying insurance coverage, and preparing billing statements. You will also communicate with patients and insurance companies to resolve payment issues and ensure accurate billing and reimbursement.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in medical billing and coding.
Knowledge of medical billing software and systems
Familiarity with medical terminology and coding systems (such as HCPCS, CPT and ICD-10)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to handle confidential information and maintain patient privacy.
