Primary Care office needs medical scribe.
In-office, Monday to Thursday, 9am-4pm.
Responsibilities:
-accurately document patient medical histories, symptoms, physical exams, and procedures during/after provider-patient encounters
-transcribe medical orders and prescriptions as directed by providers
-maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA rules at all times
Requirements:
-proficiency in typing and computer skills
-excellent verbal and written communication skills
-strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy
Preference given for:
-knowledge of medical terminology/documentation practices
-past experience with ECW EMR system
-certifications as MA, CNA, or EMT
