Established private periodontal practice seeking energetic, full time dental assistant

Qualifications:
Dental Assistant: 1 year (preferred)
CPR /BLS certification (preferred)
Dental Radiology (preferred)
Responsibilities:
Take and update patient medical history
Review clinic schedule
Schedule appointments
Maintain accurate patient records including charting, chart notes, medical history
Set up/Break down treatment rooms
Clean instruments/dental sterilization
Review Pre and Post instructions with patients
Knowledge of FMX and CBCT
Complete intraoral scans
Providing quality customer care
Skills:
Proven work experience as a Dental Assistant
Hands-on experience with CBCT and intraoral scanner
Professional attitude and appearance
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
Excellent organizational skills
Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
Customer service attitude
Knowledge of dental practice management software, Open Dental preferred
Presenting treatment plans to patients
Knowledge of OSHA and HIPPA rules and regulations
Computer skills
Communication and interpersonal skills
Well-organized, reliable, with attention to detail
Maintain an organized area
Time management and leadership skills
Friendly and outgoing
Team player
Quick learner
Knowledge of a second language is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
