Seeking Caregiver who cares for Thursdays 8AM-5PM (somewhat flexible for the right person).
Client is a senior woman who is blind, mute, and contracted. This is a full care position. Resposibilities include food preparation (processing), personal care (diaper changes, washes, shaving), feeding, light housekeeping. Clients daughter works from home and will be onsite.
IMPORTANT: Looking for someone who is truly compassionate and who cares. This is not a position where it will be accepted to play on your phone all day. This is not a companionship role. This opportunity requires someone who is comfortable and willing to take the time and talk/interact with the client even though she cannot speak or see. This may come in the form of reading, talking about music she is listening to, talking about shows she is listening to and not ignoring her. This is not a fast paced environment nor is it constant work, but the role requires someone who is not looking to get paid for doing nothing.
Pay starts at $18/hour with a $1/hour increase after 6 months and additional $1/hour increase after 12 months - this increase is 100% based on performance and attendance. Please note that this is NOT NEGOTIABLE.
Must CARE about your job and have patience and compassion
Must be fluent in reading and speaking English
Must have YOUR OWN reliable transportation and be dependable and responsible
Must be comfortable with cameras surrounding the home (inside and out)
Must clear a Level 2 background check and get paid on a W2 (No cash payment)
Must be an animal lover - there are cats in the home
Must have good hygeine with regular handwashing
No long fingernails, jewelry, or perfume
