We’re looking for a dependable Carpenter’s Helper to assist with various residential and commercial construction projects. This role supports the lead carpenter and crew by preparing materials, maintaining job sites, and performing basic carpentry and construction tasks. Ideal for someone eager to learn the trade and grow into a skilled carpenter.
Responsibilities:
Assist carpenters with framing, trimming, formwork, and installation tasks
Measure, cut, and prepare lumber and materials
Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe workspace
Load, unload, and organize materials and supplies
Operate hand and power tools safely under supervision
Follow blueprints, layouts, and directions accurately
Help set up and tear down job sites daily
Perform other general labor duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Previous construction or carpentry experience preferred but not required
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying weather
Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures
Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
